ABOUT US

Ever since I was a little girl, there has never been anything I loved more than making clothes for me and my younger sister. After restarting my life and career more times than I can remember, all these years later I am still happiest singing to myself behind the humming of my sewing machine. Most of my family still lives in Sudan so starting this business more than 10 years ago in Winnipeg has given me the opportunity to make clothes for new friends and family while raising my two boys here in Canada. My sisters and I still manage to see each other when we can, and it is still just like when we were kids, having fashion shows in our rooms. When I’m not sewing, my favourite things to do are pencil sketching, cooking new recipes, or growing plants around our home.
